Email on your own domain

The address you@yourcompany.com instead of one at a provider. The domain stays where it is — you only add records pointing mail here.

Why your own domain

The address is yours, not borrowed.

  • Change provider and the address stays. That is the whole difference against an address on somebody else's domain.
  • Several addresses for one companyinfo@, billing@, support@ — each can go somewhere else.
  • It reads as a company, not as a private account.
  • A catch-all picks up mail sent to addresses that do not exist, so a sender's typo does not lose the message.

How you set it up

The guide shows the exact records; we keep watching them.

  1. Enter the domain in the portal and get a verification record.
  2. Add MX so that mail arrives here.
  3. SPF, DKIM and DMARC we set up for you — without them mail lands in spam even when everything else is right.
  4. Create mailboxes, aliases and forwarding.

DNS is checked continuously, not only at setup. If someone deletes or overwrites a record, we know before mail starts failing.

Already have mail on that domain elsewhere? Migrate the old mailboxes first and switch MX afterwards — the switch is the moment delivery moves here.

Frequently asked

What people ask most.

How long does connecting a custom domain take?

The DNS records take minutes to set; expect hours before they spread. The guide shows the exact values and checks the state for you.

Do I have to move my domain registrar?

No. The domain stays where it is; you only add records that point mail to us.

What if a record disappears later?

We check them continuously, not only at setup. If MX, SPF or DKIM go missing, we notice and warn you before mail starts failing.

Can I have several domains?

Yes, the number depends on the plan. Each can have its own mailboxes, aliases and catch-all.

Can I use a domain that already has mail elsewhere?

Yes, but switching MX is the moment mail starts arriving here — which is why migrating the old mailboxes first is the safer order.
